Does anyone have access to a public synthetic or deidentified NHS "Summary Care Record" that they could share? I don't mean an HTML rendering, I mean an actual XML or JSON or whatever format it is stored and transmitted in.

HI @Jason Walonoski what are you intending to do with it?

I want something similar for the USA (where I live). I want to get into the nuts and bolts of what is actually in there and how it is represented. I want to compare to the results of FHIR $everything and what is in DAF. I want to compare to similar standards in other countries (e.g. Australian "My Health Record")... I want to have an idea what should be in a similar record for the United States. I want to learn from the folks who have gone before me.

In that case I'm not sure that the English Summary care Record is the obvious choice. I can post an example message but not the specification

Thanks, I'd be thrilled to get my hands on one. Why do you say it isn't the obvious choice? The NHS claims that 55 million citizens have a SCR. In the US, no one has anything like an SCR.

Is the specification proprietary or a state secret or something?

qupc_ex160004uk05_01.xml This is an example out of the specification - it's HL7v3

Thank you for the example.

We are also working on a similar "health summary" style product using FHIR. This is still in development the output of the last sprint is here ; http://developer.nhs.uk/downloads-data/fhir-resource-definitions-library/
