I would say it really is up to what the usage is all about. In its base, it is merely a place to store your profiles. If you can render the profiles yourself and don't need the fancy parts of simplifier, a regular git-repo will do it for you. And for national use, a single profile can be enough ... but that utterly depends on what the need is

We in MedCom are also looking at simplifier.net, and see the benefits in a common repository. We will be all ears in Amsterdam NeXT week
