In our HL7v2 messages we use the Table 0445 (Identity Reliability Code) to mark a BSN as verified or not. See attached filed. Has there been any initiative in the nl-core profiles to replicate this functionality? If not, would this be something to discuss next WGM?

This screenshot tells me you are not working with the latest revisions of chapter 3. The current version is much more elaborate.

That being said: yes this would be a topic. My initial feeling leans towards an extension in the context of the Identifier datatype. I also understood however that datatype extensions can be awkward to work with so potentially an extension in context Patient would be better. Preferable we would be on par with HL7v2.4 NL PID|31 and PID|32 which is the result of careful input from many sources.
