Topic: tx.fhir.org incorrect language display warning?
Oliver Egger (Apr 16 2020 at 08:55):
for communication language @Sandro Zbinden wants to add de-CH for a patient. in http://hl7.org/fhir/valueset-languages.html de-CH has a display of German (Switzerland). The java validator / IG publisher returns a warning that this display name is not correct and should be German (Region=Switzerland):
Patient/FranzMuster: Patient.communication[0].language (l102/c15) warning The display "German (Switzerland)" is not a valid display for the code {urn:ietf:bcp:47}de-CH - should be one of ["German (Region=Switzerland)"]
We can't find anywhere a definition for German (Region=Switzerland). Is that an issue in tx.fhir.org or is the ValueSet languages for this not relevant?

Grahame Grieve (Apr 22 2020 at 03:48):
it's a property of tx.fhir.org
Grahame Grieve (Apr 22 2020 at 04:03):
tx.fhir.org will accept German (Switzerland)
next time I upgrade it.
I wonder if anyone has translated the IANA registry on which that code system is based?
