Topic: What of Base Resources should be carried over to Profiles

When SUSHI creates a profile, it starts by cloning the base resource's StructureDefinition and then applies changes to it. We understand that some metadata from the base resource (like certain extensions) should be _removed_ in the profile instance. We've received questions about other metadata (such as mappings). Is there any guidance or specification regarding which StructureDefinition properties should be preserved from the base resource and which StructureDefinition properties should be removed or modified?

as far as I know, we've only discussed the extensions. Also, AFAIK, all the other tools preserve everything else
