Many of the resources include standard extensions which is useful but I think it would be more useful to have standard "extension search paths" so specifiers choosing to use them can have standard restful interfaces as well. Is there a place to do that?

It seems to me to make sense to associate standard HL7 provided extensions with named search parameters that you'd use to search on them.

sure if any comittee wants to do that, I can show them how to do it. pick the ones you think it makes sense, and make tasks to create them

I think this should be part of the Quality Guidelines and maybe even mandatory?

I've added it to the list. We can't make it mandatory - some extensions won't make sense to search on.
