I also filed this bug in the forge bugtracker - but propably this is related to the .NET code:
If i have a derived profile which modifies Element.slicing the snapshot generator doesn't include Element.slicing.discriminator from parent -> derived profile.
Bug was produced by modifying ElementDefinition.slicing.rule open -> closed, or adding/modifying slicing.description.```
