Topic: Resource categories

The FHIR spec provides an index of all resources grouped by category:
http://hl7.org/fhir/STU3/resourcelist.html#tabs-1
How does the build determine the category of each resource? Are the categories hard-coded into the build, or are they somehow derived from the resource StructureDefinitions (cf. working group)?

The resourcelist.html file is manually maintained. You'll find it in the build/source folder.

But it also impacts where we want stuff organized into the modules and we try to balance columns for screen density - so check with Grahame if you want to mess with it at this point.

Thank you @Richard Ettema and @Lloyd McKenzie . Reason I'm asking is because we'd like to implement similar display groups in Forge. It would be nice to have a computable solution driven by StructureDefs. No biggie though, we can easily hard-code a list of resource display groups into the application, which will be static per FHIR release.

I could generate that - make a task

I did, in May 2016: GF#10076 (status published).
I suspect the resolution refers to the working group extension. However that is different from the display category.
Can we re-open this issue, or should I create a new one?

either
