Topic: Measure scoring

@Bryn Rhodes moving this discussion here.
so, Based on Measure.scoring, in the MeasureReport:
- proportion: score is a unitless number from 0 ... 1
- ratio: score is a number with no value constraints, and maybe with a unit (perhaps constrained by extension)
- continuous-variable - score is a quantity with a unit per the extension
- cohort - there is no measure score
- otherwise... why is this thing extensible? what are you supposed to do with something else here?
Bryn Rhodes (Apr 02 2020 at 22:22):
Yes, and that's what we've tried to say with the constraints in the scoring-specific profiles in the QM IG. But scoring is extensible because we didn't want to rule out that someone could come up with another way to do scoring, but there is an expectation that if they did so, they would provide a profile to establish how that scoring worked.

how does MeasureReport.type affect these rules?
- individual - no impact
- subject-list- no impact
- summary- no impact
- data-collection- no scores at all
Bryn Rhodes (Apr 02 2020 at 22:56):
Yes, that's correct
