Topic: Forge - valueset bindings and max values in complex extensio
Jonny Rylands (Sep 16 2016 at 11:03):
@Michel Rutten Think I might have found a bug in Forge re complex extensions. If you edit a complex extension with a valueset binding and save, Forge loses the valueset binding. It also loses max cardinality values.

Seem to have found a weird workaround for the valueset binding - if you add a valueset URL then save, the valueset doesn't appear in the XML. Then add one character to the URL and re-save. Then remove the character and re-save. The final XML will have the valueset URL in it!

Also noticed the url elements of the complex extensions (the Extension.extension.url elements, rather than the Extension.url element) are not being written to the differential

Hi @Jonny Rylands , correct this is a bug. Change tracking i currently a bit wonky and needs to be refactored. Recently I've been working on improved snapshot generation, also a key part of proper change tracking. I'm planning to improve change tracking after the HL7 WGM in Baltimore.

OK great, thanks!
