I was reading through the VONK documentation and noted it is largely moving toward external terminology servers for validation. I'm curious if implementers are rolling their own or what they've been using for these integrations?

Indeed. The rationale is that we (Firely) are experts in FHIR, but others have specialized in Terminology. So we encourage users to use the best of both worlds.
