Topic: SMART App Launcher - Patient Search Broken?

I've noticed recently that the launcher at http://launch.smarthealthit.org/ returns an error when attempting to search for a patient in the patient selector. It gives the error: " An error occured loading patients, please try again later." Is this a known issue?

I think this is a known issue and you should try https

Thanks, @Josh Mandel. I don't know if your suggestion to use https was just a general suggestion or a potential workaround -- but I tried it and it did not seem to make a difference: search was still broken. Thanks again for the confirmation.

It was a potential workaround -- and given that it didn't help, I'd say this may not be a known issue @Dan Gottlieb @Vladimir Ignatov

Thanks @Chris Moesel - it looks like we introduced a bug with a recent back end change - we'll work on getting it fixed!

Sounds great, @Dan Gottlieb. Thanks! I probably wouldn't have noticed except that the patient I like to demo with is somewhere in the 700s -- making for a lot of "Next" clicks!

Ha, yup! Also, you may already be aware of this, but you can also pre-select a few patients in the launcher UI to constrain the picker list by clicking the drop down arrow next to the "Patient(s)" field and checking them off in the patient browser or entering a comma delimited set of patient ids in the text area directly.

Actually, I missed that. That certainly does help. Thanks!

FYI -- this seems to be working again. Many thanks to whoever fixed it!
