Hi All,

FYI a new set of snapshot builds of HAPI FHIR version 2.2-SNAPSHOT have been pushed to the Maven repos. In these builds:

  • hapi-fhir-structures-dstu3 has been updated to the FHIR 1.8.0 definitions
  • Some new modules called hapi-fhir-structures-dstu2.1 and hapi-fhir-validation-resources-dstu2.1 have been added which now bring in native support for the FHIR 1.4.0 (Montreal) release.

Our public server will be upgraded to use these new definitions within the next 12 hours, and I expect to push a final HAPI 2.2 release within the next few days.

Hi @James Agnew, can you comment on status of HAPI for FHIR 1.8, for use in connectathon testing? I see that your public STU 3 server is now v 1.8. There is no download for HAPI 2.2 on the project page, but as you indicated a few days ago, it has been pushed to Maven. We'd like to set up a test server, just wondering when to do that? Thx!

Hi Dave,

There are snapshots of HAPI FHIR 2.3 up on the Maven repos now, so if you are ok with a snapshot build you can use it now. 2.3 should be released within the next day or so.

Thanks James, we'll get started with the 2.3 snapshot.

2.3 SNAPSHOTS? Do you mean 2.2 SNAPSHOTS?

view this post on Zulip James Agnew (Dec 20 2016 at 14:16):

Sorry yes, 2.2.

We're in a funny spot right now where the HL7v2 library is at 2.2 and we're about to release 2.3 and the FHIR library is at 2.1 and we're about to release 2.2. Confuuuuusing.

It seems that the open HAPI server at http://fhirtest.uhn.ca has been down for 2-3 days? Any estimate when it will be available for FHIR 1.8 testing? The URL returns, "The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server."

We're back in business. :)
