How do we represent previous disjointed years of the same coverage plan? Should each set of years be a different coverage resource or should it be one coverage resource with a wider period field? status field can be only :active | cancelled | draft | entered-in-error, but there is no kind of in past. Can some give examples how to deal with it, please ?

I'd represent this as two Coverage intervals.
