For C-CDA on FHIR, we have a number of samples that have references to samples from us-core. For example, a Composition example in C-CDA on FHIR references a practitioner example from us-core. However, samples do not seem to be included in definitions.json.zip packages that the dependencyList uses. So, what should a reference to a us-core sample from a c-cda on fhir sample look like, and how would that reference be resolved by the ig publisher?

Sounds like a change request that needs to be discussed by FHIR-I from a tooling perspective and/or FMG from a "scope of publication" perspective - can you submit a change request?

You can download the examples.json.zip or examples.xml.zip from US-Core downloads page and reference them locally. I don't think the examples belong in definitions.zip files.
