Josh Mandel (Jul 12 2016 at 21:17):
The FHIR spec includes web pages like http://hl7-fhir.github.io/uslab/patient-uslab.html that indicate that http://hl7-fhir.github.io/uslab/patient-uslab-example1.json is supposed to conform to http://hl7-fhir.github.io/uslab/uslab-patient.html -- but this information doesn't appear to be captured in machine-readable format anywhere. Am I missing it?
Josh Mandel (Jul 12 2016 at 21:17):
(e.g. the examples could include a Profile tag pointing back to the profile; that would make some things easier)
Lloyd McKenzie (Jul 12 2016 at 21:21):
The IG has a place to specify the link from an example to the profile
Lloyd McKenzie (Jul 12 2016 at 21:22):
resource.exampleFor
Eric Haas (Jul 12 2016 at 22:00):
@Josh Mandel I didn't add the profile tag when creating them. If that is what you are asking you are not missing it.
Grahame Grieve (Jul 12 2016 at 22:27):
it is isn the IG resource, but i've been meaning to get around to adding the tag too. but I haven't done that in the new IG publisher yet
Eric Haas (Jul 12 2016 at 23:55):
Should the authors be adding the meta instead of the tool?
Lloyd McKenzie (Jul 13 2016 at 00:56):
The meta in the example won't impact what profile it'll show up for in the IG.
Grahame Grieve (Jul 13 2016 at 00:56):
neither will the IG resource
Lloyd McKenzie (Jul 13 2016 at 01:25):
So do we need that element in ImplementationGuide any more?
Eric Haas (Jul 13 2016 at 01:58):
I'm not sure why we are talking about the the IG resource?. The IG builds are being split out so there won't be IG examples intermingled with the core examples. I didn't think the IG resource had anything to do with it? Weren't they to link the example resources to the IG profile?
Grahame Grieve (Jul 13 2016 at 02:01):
yes they do. but that's so the tools know the link. It now doesn't drive the publishing arrangements
Eric Haas (Jul 13 2016 at 02:02):
Which means...nothing needs to be done since the problem will go away?
Grahame Grieve (Jul 13 2016 at 02:06):
no I think it would be useful for the IGpublisher to assert the profile explicitly
Grahame Grieve (Jul 13 2016 at 02:06):
but the authors don't need to do anything
