I'm currently searching for the best practice/ efinition inside the FHIR standard which says that each resource should be interpretable by itself and that adding a resource to a list doesn't change the semantical meaning of the resource itself.

i just found the last part of the List scope (https://www.hl7.org/fhir/list.html#scope) and was wondering if this principle is described somewhere else in the FHIR documentation

It's a general principle of FHIR design. It's not stated explicitly, but the basic concepts are here: http://wiki.hl7.org/index.php?title=FHIR_Resource_Considerations
