In an Operation outcome, I think the "location" as a stack trace of errors.
I am not clear on what "expression" means. Can anyone please explain?

Location and expression both point to the location(s) in the instance that are tied to the issue. Location uses a limplified XPath syntax with a couple of variations. Expression uses the FHIRPath syntax.
