The stream title "extension FHIR" implies that you feel that you need extensions to fit your MatLab data into FHIR, right? Can you give a few more details about this?

How do we define multiple constrains on an Extension value Reference? For example we have an extension which adds value of type Reference, the value needs to be restricted to Patient or Practitioner. How do we do this? We see the profile field used to restrict references to one type (eg. Patient) but what about multiple types?

multiple occurences of .type, all with .code = Reference, and .targetProfile = the different resource targets
