Are there any special rules on not naming elements 'div' in the spec? Or, when converting formats, can I assume div is always the one from the Narrative or should I consult the schema each time

I don't think we have a rule, but I think it's reasonable to submit a change request to ask that we enforce one in the build tool. I can't think of a situation where we'd want/need to allow that, and prohibiting certainly makes things easier.
