Hi everyone.

I have a question concerning the choice of the right resource for "substances" like moisturizing cream. I don't consider them as medications, as they are products of daily life (I use them without a medical indication). Yet I think "device" is the wrong resource either. I would prefer "Substance", yet I can't say that a substance belongs to or is applied to a certain patient without a procedure.

Does anyone have an idea? Or am I on the right track and need to link patient and substance via another resource?

Thanks in advance for your answers.

It would be Medication. Medication includes over-the-counter products that don't require a prescription.

Hi Lloyd, thanks for the answer. Does this even fit to products I buy not at the pharmacy, but in a supermarket?

Just a bit to my use case: It's still the wound, where we might have information like "patient uses moisturizing cream XYZ".
