Topic: What is the best way to extend a valueset?

Doing some patient comms & we have an app which run on a smartphone & uses mobile push messaging.
https://www.hl7.org/fhir/valueset-contact-point-system.html \ http://hl7.org/fhir/contact-point-system does not contain a value for mobile push messaging /notifications.
"other" could do but seems somewhat expansive as we would need to know for sure that this message / commsRequest should be passed through to our phone app.
So.... any / the best way to add (cleanly) to a valueset?

Currently you can't, as the binding is required.
If there is a Use Case which appears not only with you but also with Others, you can add a jira ticket.

You can create an extension like ContactPoint.othersystem
