The Vital Signs profile has a required UCUM binding on .component.value[x]. On .value is has not, and it even explains that you can use e.g. a CodeableConcept for CuffType.
Shouldn't these two elements be aligned? Currently, you can't use .component.value[x] for other purposes than a UCUM measure... limiting the reuse of these profiles. In the Netherlands, we want to use these profiles but also extend them with other concepts.

there are current trackers to address this... basically making it extensible.
