@Brett Marquard @Linda Michaelsen
Hi, i see the status for https://jira.hl7.org/browse/FHIR-34133 has been updated to applied.
Does that mean that we should update our us-core-birthsex-extensions on our fhir servers to accept the ASKU value?
I also have another birth sex extension in my company that keys off this -- was going to update that too.
Or is this not "official" yet?
Brett Marquard (Dec 10 2021 at 18:57):
We are 'officially' in ballot...so it can definitely change. If you check in 2/1/2022 we should have a good sense whether this one will stick.
Lloyd McKenzie (Dec 11 2021 at 05:35):
status of "published" means 'official'. (And even then, it's possible that subsequent trackers will have overridden the result of this one.) Also, published is 'official' for the current release, but unless normative, could possibly change in a future release
Eric Haas (Dec 12 2021 at 19:37):
.. which is all trumped by regulation.
