Topic: Synthea for payer IGs

Hello! Please redirect me if I'm posting in the wrong stream/topic.
Re: CMS/ONC interoperability and the various payer IGs (e.g. CARIN, PDEX, etc).
Can Synthea produce data compatible with any of the payer IGs?
I want to set up a sandbox environment populated with synthetic data that conforms to these IGs.
I did find this: https://github.com/synthetichealth/synthea/wiki/Payer-Data but that doesn't quite get me there.
Thanks!

I’m not familiar with any payer customizations for the specified use case but you can definitely modify them in Synthea. See the Other Areas-section of the Wiki.

Thanks, @Richard Stanley. That is the section I linked to.
I suppose what I don't understand is how to get Synthea to populate coded values appropriately where the binding strength is required
. I've only ever used Synthea to support very general cases; nothing so specific before.

That’s above my skill level. Maybe create an issue in their GitHub repo?
Diederik Muylwyk (Apr 30 2021 at 19:13):
Will do, and investigate further. It's possible this is a use case that's not presently supported yet.
Thanks again!
