The lab we are building a portal for does at home testing for their patients. So in this case the collector is the patient. Does it break with the purpose of the Specimen.collector property to put the patient here instead?

Currently a reference to Patient is not allowed, but it should be. I think this is worthy for a change request.

For now you'll need an extension sibling to collector.

It seems reasonable to have the Patient as a possible reference!
