We're currently working on developing a FHIR profile for Specimen and were wondering about how to understand the "duration" field, especially since "collected" also allows for a Period. Does anyone have an example on how to properly use "duration"? While we need to capture multiple times during specimen collection (e.g. 1. stopping the blood flow to and 2. actually cutting the specimen) we're unsure if this is within the intended use of "collected" / "duration".

Duration would be something like a 3-hour urine collection (as opposed to a 6-hour urine collection).

It wouldn't generally be populated for blood draws or tissue samples
