On http://hl7.org/fhir/us/core/stu1/ValueSet-us-core-observation-ccdasmokingstatus.html 428071000124103 and 428061000124105 are listed as valid SNOMED codes. However, we are not able to find these codes in SNOMED and even the links to them on this page come back with errors. Is there something that we are missing here?

Are you looking in the US extension? Or you could look in VSAC.

Yes, we are looking at the US extension via the links on the US core page (for example http://browser.ihtsdotools.org/?perspective=full&conceptId1=428071000124103)

They are valid us-extension codes. I was able to find them easily using the IHTSDO browser. Make sure you are searching in the US edition release.

@Grahame Grieve Would be nice to fix the links to these concepts on the smoking status profile page.

@Nikolai Schwertner They expanded for me when I checked here: http://hl7.org/fhir/us/core/ValueSet-us-core-observation-ccdasmokingstatus.html what version of US-Core are you looking at? ...ah I see the reference to the IHTSDO browser is erroring -since is searching in the "en-edition" As an aside that browser did not support the US extension for the longest time although it is now. Maybe using VSAC is better.
