Topic: ServiceRequest - extra parties to inform of the outcome
Robin Bosman (Oct 15 2020 at 15:31):
Hello, while studying the serviceRequest, I was wondering how to include in the initial request the fact that certain other parties need to be informed of the outcome of the request.
Let's say a serviceRequest is created that will lead to a diagnosticReport in a laboratory workflow: the initial requestor might know of certain other parties that will need to be informed once the report is available. Is it at all possible to include this information in the initial serviceRequest or is that not the correct way to look at this and should that information be conveyed in a different resource ?

I can add this to the agenda of the next Patient Care conference call (Thurs at 5pm Eastern), but technically OO owns the ServiceRequest resource.

I agree with Michelle that this sounds like it is primarily an OO topic. I'll see if @Hans Buitendijk can put it on an upcoming OO call agenda.

And I'll post the link on the OO WG stream.
