Is there any way to express "missing" back references (reverse chaining)? For example "find all the patients which don't have Flag associated with them"?

A related question is would that even be a good idea (given that "missing" data does not necessarily mean that data is missing)? Would there be a better way to find non-flagged patients?

Not sure of the use-case for non-flagged patients, but I can certainly see a use for something like "find me all patients that we don't actually have any encounters for" or something like that.
