Topic: Searching Immunizations via Encounters

I noticed that encounter is not a search parameter on the Immunization resource. Is there a reason for this? Do others think this would be a useful element to be able to search by?

@Lloyd McKenzie, Do you mean "this is so obviously useful that we should just submit a gforge because we should for sure support this" ?
Or is this just not the proper forum for this discussion, and it will be debated in whatever context where the change proposals are discussed?

Encounter is a 'compartment' so, in general, anything that is associated with Encounter should be searchable by Encounter to ensure that the compartment works properly. So in this case, yes, this is a no-brainer that definitely should be done.
