Topic: SearchParam Registry for Patient - Medication resources

I noticed that in https://www.hl7.org/fhir//searchparameter-registry.html#common
There were two "Patient" entries in the Common Parameters section -- one entry for most resources, and another entry for the MedicationRequest.subject | MedicationAdministration.subject | MedicationStatement.subject | MedicationDispense.subject
In R4 and build.fhir.org, those Medication-related ones have been dropped and not merged into the main "Patient" entry. Was there any reason for this?

@Melva Peters ?

@Ken Sinn I'm not sure why they are not in the searchparameter registry. They still exist in the resource itself. @Grahame Grieve any ideas?

@Grahame Grieve Any chance to have a look at this discrepancy?

view this post on Zulip Grahame Grieve (Nov 30 2018 at 20:34):

the source claims that they were moved because of task GF#16547 but in fact they were only removed, not moved

view this post on Zulip Grahame Grieve (Nov 30 2018 at 20:35):

I presume this was an editorial error, since something else moved under the same task was actually moved.

any additional review you can do in the next 2 weeks of the common search parameters would be welcome

The common search parameter "prescription" seems to have been dropped from STU3 -> R4 as a common parameter, though the parameters MedicationAdministration.prescription | MedicationDispense.authorizingPrescription still both exist under MedicationAdministration and MedicationDispense individually - that's all I found.
