Topic: Resource types for Clinical Research

Are there any Resource types in work for clinical research like Study/Protocol, Subject, Institutions etc.

Subject would be Patient. Institutions would be Organization. Protocol is a draft resource. Study has not yet been addressed - we're waiting on implementers to indicate a need.

Thank you @Lloyd McKenzie Can you point me the draft to take a look at Protocol resource if it is published? we use Protocol and Study interchangeably. I don't know the exact difference as I am more a tech guy.

@Lloyd McKenzie I think i found the Protocol resource details http://hl7.org/fhir/2016May/protocol.html. Thank you.

Yes. Keep in mind that it's a level 0 resource. Protocol and OrderSet are likely to get merged and the resulting design evolved a bit. Feedback is welcome.
