Good day, I hope all are well. In the US we have invented a few 'non-fhir' ways to handle referrals. One gaining transaction is the IHE 360x. Has anyone explored using FHIR for referral request/responses?

The BSeR project is developing a bi-directional interface between providers and community-based service providers. Many of the concepts from 360x are included in the BSeR work. We are targeting a May 2019 ballot for this work.

I suggested for 360X an option to make the referral request and scheduling aspects FHIR messages.
