Topic: Reference Syntax without type
Georg Fette (Jan 29 2019 at 10:15):
Hello,
This resource on the test server http://test.fhir.org/r3/DiagnosticReport/28 contains result instances that have a strange reference value (e.g. "#r1"). I thought that it is always necessary to write the concrete type of the referenced resources in from of the reference value identifier (e.g. "Observation/#r1"). Is this notation legal ?
Greetings
Georg

ah, I just found the chapter about internal references with the '#' notation. Sorry for the confusion.

Yes, to a contained resource.
