I'm looking in the FHIR spec at the definitions of 'range below the value' and 'range above the value' for number/quantity search prefixes in the table at the bottom of the https://www.hl7.org/fhir/search.html#prefix section. The examples in column 3 of the table don't seem to match the text in column 2, but based on the text I'm interpreting the definition of 'range below the value' to be any value less than the search parameter value, and the definition of 'range above the value' to be any value greater than or equal to the search parameter value. Is that correct?

note: that table you mention is only expressing the definitions of the phrases "range below the value", "range above the value", and "range of the value"
to get the actual definitions of the different search prefixes you need to reference the table above that
with that in mind it think it makes sense to have these ranges both inclusive as the final say lives with the prefix's definition (and uses the join of rage of value and range above value but that's a different conversation I've already lost once)
