There are great Inferno tests for the EHR elements of the Interoperability rule. Are there similar tests available for the payer side (e.g. ExplanationOfBenefits)? If not, are there any open source efforts underway that folks know of? Thanks!

(I'm asking here because #inferno appears pretty quiet and folks here are likely to know.)

Aegis Touchstone has tests for the Carin BB implementation guide (with some bugs though)

The CMS rule does not mandate an implementation guide, so strictly speaking those are not test for conformance with the rule

Touchstone has the EOB tests for C4BB: https://touchstone.aegis.net/touchstone/testdefinitions?selectedTestGrp=/FHIRSandbox/CARIN&activeOnly=true&contentEntry=TEST_SCRIPTS
It's available with a free subscription - you just need to register. You can get there to register at touchstone.com and the instructions for registering and running tests are at our online documentation: https://touchstone.aegis.net/touchstone/userguide/html/registration/index.html

That said, we are always around to answer questions and you can reach us here by tagging #Touchstone or email us at touchstone_support@aegis.net and we'll be happy to help you along if you have any questions. Happy Testing!
