Over on the #methodology channel we are discussing a number of open issues with the way we define the FHIR specification. Our general plan is to discuss them on Zulip, and then, when either we get to some consensus or we're clearly getting nowhere, to dsicuss them on our methodology telecon (5pm Eastern Tuesday). We invite people to participate in the discussions they are interested in:
- ConceptReference - when an element can refer to something by concept or instance
- Can we have repeating choice elements?
- Process for defining GreeFields resources
- Ensuring subject/focus split is consistent in other resources
- Should we have an object heirarchy in the participation resources?
- Maintenance of substantive change / breaking change page maintenance
- Should we have multiple bindings (and about the use of extensible bindings)
- Using Communication, Messaging and task consistently
