Dear all, this may be a silly question. For a project we are interested in using the NutritionIntake and NutritionOrder resource. However, I see that this is a part of the R5 Draft. Also, they have not been balloted for Normative Candidates. I would like to know when (rough indication) when these resources would be part of a release version. Many thanks.

R5 is now slated to go to ballot in Jan. 2022. That would mean publication of R5 in Q3 or maybe Q4 2022. Based on our current maturity criteria, orders that first become STU in R5 could be candidates for normative in R7

We suppose to use NutritionIntake in our project. But our FHIR is using R4. Is there any alternate of NutritionItake in R4?

You could try to fudge it with MedicationAdministration, but your best bet is probably Basic with a lot of extensions.
