I have recently been given write access to the GitHub repo for the dotnet C# library called NHapi which is a port of the java library hapi since Dwayne (author) doesnt have time to maintain it. However it uses the Hl7 normative access database to generate the C# classes. Who could I speak to about obtaining a copy of the databases legitimately for free so that I am able to support the NHapi project moving forward.

I have sent an email to hq yesterday regarding this, hopefully they will get back to me soon, once this happens do I need to speak with you? (Assuming they approve).

This is not a standard question, and there is a legal aspect to it, the answer may take some time for that reason ;-)

yes, and it has made the rounds through HQ for approval. Still working on the backend recordkeeping but @Frank Oemig can send you the latest db - or would you prefer Jake downloads it from the HL7 site?
