Topic: Missing orderMeaning on List.entry?
Alexander Kiel (Sep 26 2019 at 15:26):
For the List Resource in R4, List.entry
has no orderMeaning
. However there is List.orderedBy
which, in my eyes, gives the collection of List.entry
an order meaning. Should the spec contain a orderMeaning
like "See List.orderedBy"?
I ask because I try to collect a list of all collections for which an implementation is supposed to preserve the order of elements. If I only look at orderMeaning
there aren't many ordered collections. But for List.entry
I would expect that implementations should preserve the order.

sounds like a good thing to make a task about

@Alexander Kiel can you submit a change request?
Alexander Kiel (Sep 30 2019 at 07:39):
@Lloyd McKenzie I have created one here: https://gforge.hl7.org/gf/project/fhir/tracker/?action=TrackerItemEdit&tracker_item_id=24878
