I have done some additional analysis on medication request dose timing and have clarified that SNOMED CT codes are available for the vast majority of common dose timings/frequencies used in the UK. This analysis and the proposed data 'standardisation' should help enable interoperability of medication dose information between primary care physicians and hospitals.
Updated list in table form attached for the HL7 FHIR Pharmacy specialist team to review.
Thanks - Andrew Gledhill (BPharm)

@Andrew Gledhill - thank you for this. I see the column that says SNOMED yes/no; do you have a version of this spreadsheet that lists the SNOMED codes you found ? Also, do you have a mapping of the equivalent HL7 V2.x Repeat Patterns (table 0335) for these? It would be very helpful in mapping HL7 Med messages to FHIR.

Hello John
I have amended the spreadsheet as requested with HL7 v2 repeat patterns. I'm not sure that UK SNOMED CT definitions are the same as international ones so each individual country should check their own definitions. Regards Andrew
