How should we best link between a logical model and a profile?
To express that this profile that this profile is the physical implementation of the Logical model.

Initially I'm just looking at linking the model and the profile at the roots, not yet the different elements

If you just map the concept of the logical model to a FHIR resource, wouldn't that just be a ConceptMap?

Indeed but I will eventually need to map the fields too, so should I start with a concept map?

Depends on what you are trying to express. I don’t see anything wrong with having a concept map and a StructureMap. Would be nice if you could somehow link them together, wouldn’t know how to do this.
