Hello! Is there already a MHD profile for DocumentReferences?

Yes, look here: http://www.ihe.net/uploadedFiles/Documents/ITI/IHE_ITI_Suppl_MHD.pdf (page 54 and further)

IHE has updated the MHD, PDQm, and PIXm supplements to align with DSTU2. These are in the administrative process to get them formally released. BUT you can find the approved DOC versions on their FTP site at ftp://ftp.ihe.net/IT_Infrastructure/iheitiyr14-2016-2017/Technical%20Cmte/Workitems/DSTU2updates/Approved-for-TI-Publication/

@Anna Lackerbauer Did you mean if there are FHIR-profiles on the ressources MHD uses, which are different from the base resources (for example DocumentReference.author is 1..* in MHD and 0..* in the base ressource -> see ftp://ftp.ihe.net/IT_Infrastructure/iheitiyr10-2012-2013/Technical_cmte/WorkItems/FHIR-IHE/documentreference-spreadsheet.xml)?

I would be interested in this as well.

IHE didn't create a FHIR Profile (StructureDefinition). This is work that IHE knows should be done. The problem is administrative. IHE doesn't have a registry and tooling. HL7 has tooling, but not yet a registry. But to use HL7 tooling requires PSS approval, which failed... Getting a body of people together that want this done is what is necessary. Trying to do it alone is hard.

@John Moehrke Let me know when there is enough room in your calendar to get this started

Thank you for your answers!
@Oliver Krauss This is exactly what I am looking for.

John, are you saying you need a PSS to use e.g. Forge or Simplifier?

view this post on Zulip John Moehrke (May 19 2016 at 12:48):

No, the problem isn't technical at all. I could do it technically, without authority, like I have done many other things. I am just not personally motivated, closer to de-motivated because of the politics between IHE and HL7 leadership. The actal StructureDefinition is very simplicstic as MHD removes a few elements, and sets a few others as manditory. Someone else, who needs it, should do it. Epecicilly now that we have Smplifier as a registry.... ANYONE can do this... don't wait for me.

Note that the new MHD update, aligning with DSTU2, should be out really soon.
