Topic: Logical models - Type Element

view this post on Zulip Richard Kavanagh (Sep 17 2019 at 12:55):

When creating logical models, what is the value that is supposed to go in the StructureDefinition.Type element?

I looked in R4 for inspiration and this element (although mandatory) seems to be missing from http://hl7.org/fhir/R4/request.json and http://hl7.org/fhir/R4/event.json

a URI that identifies the type - probably the canonical URI

Thanks - I assume it is meant to be in the R4 logical models

I'm not sure what you mean

With the R4 release, there are a number of logical models defined to describe request, event etc.
Looking at the StructureDefinition for these StructureDefinition.type is missing - yet it is mandatory.
