What is the correct way to represent information like "smoking mother" in a summary. The closest thing seems to be FamilyMemberHistory.condition. (but not sure if this is only for Problems or Diagnosis e.g. familiarity with CVD).

I can run the question by Patient Care tonight during our weekly conference call. Speaking as an implementer, I've seen Social History questions ("Lives with Someone who Smokes") like that with a Yes/No answer -- and that would be represented as an Observation.

Patient Care discussion landed on recommending Observation (reframing as "second hand smoking") and not using FamilyMemberHistory.
