I'd like to use the FHIR Validator as part of our QA process, but can only do so if it is Open Source.

Will someone please confirm that validator_cli.jar is or is not Open Source?

The validator is part of the HAPI code and is licensed under Apache 2.0: https://github.com/hapifhir/org.hl7.fhir.core/blob/master/LICENSE.txt
