I'm playing about with the FHIR-parser repo, which builds according to a hard-coded URL in the settings. I wondered about making that something that could be done by release (ie 3.0.1); but would need to backtrack that to the URL for the examples-json.zip. I can pull the html and parse it to get that information, but something like a releases.json or similar would be much more straight-forward.

Also, FYI - the Sep2012 tr has an unclosed <a> (I hate parsing HTML)

well, there's a json file now - http://hl7.org/fhir/package-list.json (just added it)
