Is there a corresponding IHE FHIR profile for the ITI-8/ITI-44 [Patient Identity Feed] transaction? These transactions seem to work in conjunction with PIXm but are not part of it.

There is a work item this year to address a FHIR equivalent of the feed transaction. The initial PIXm use-case that IHE addressed was scoped to support for a query to a classic PIX manager. Where the PIX manager would be updated using classic HL7 v2 ADT.
As we put together details on this new work item, I will update the #ihe stream.

Related to this is that the HL7 PA workgroup has indicated that a task for R5 is to address Patient management including link/unlink/merge... IHE will be working jointly on that
