Topic: IHE FHIR IG links are broken

All of the links to IHE FHIR IGs on registry.fhir.org are broken. They all point to: http://wiki.ihe.net/index which gives a 404 error.

I need help here. I have put the IHE Profiles (Implementation Guides) into the FHIR Guides Registry https://registry.fhir.org/guides

I am not sure how something gets into generic registry.fhir.org

view this post on Zulip John Moehrke (Nov 14 2019 at 02:30):

what is an examle of something in registry.fhir.org that is giving this failure? My check of the guides seems to be all specific pages that do work.

I found one.. the ATNA one... I will check, but I thought I put these all in as specific sites on wiki.ihe.net

NOTE, that we are working hard at getting these re-published using the IG publication tooling, so this is a short-term probllem too

view this post on Zulip Grahame Grieve (Nov 14 2019 at 02:44):

once you have them published through the IG tooling, we'll talk about how to get them on registry.fhir.org - that's a moving target right now

@Grahame Grieve it seems this has been introduced when you introduced the canonical element. The UI today seems to be clicking on the URL in canonical. The canonical was not in my last edit long ago, it seems you set all the IHE canonical to the above URL. I am not sure the right solution as what is there is not the canonical for the given IHE profile, nore is it something that a human should expect to browse to.

view this post on Zulip John Moehrke (Nov 14 2019 at 02:46):

IHE might have a canonical URI for some of these, most not... yet... but the canonical URI would not be a human browser target... yet...

note that I do need to do some maintenance (some more of our stuff is now R4).. so if you can guide me, I can make the right change.

view this post on Zulip Grahame Grieve (Nov 14 2019 at 02:49):

well, for now, just make a PR that sets the canonical to the same value as the history property

okay. I can execute on that.
